4D has over 18 years of experience in the Pharmacy Benefits Management market. 4D emerged on the market place in 1988 with the first fully capitated Pharmacy Benefit for a local HMO in a County sponsored health program.

4D Continues to succeed by designing programs that control utilization and drive product mix while providing its members with a prescription drug benefit to fit the budget allowed. Since 1988 4D has contracted with a variety of other Health Plans who continue to utilize the 4D expertise, programs and experience.

4D staff of Pharmacists collectively brings over 100 years of experience.

Our Pharmacists have a varied background in the prescription delivery system. They have served as consultants in various areas of Pharmacy practice and Healthcare management.  

We have had ownership and have managed the day to day operations of retail pharmacies. Designing, participating in the risk and maintaining capitated Pharmacy benefit programs is part of our accomplishments. We have also participated in Pharmacy computer design programs for retail operations.
